Heat resistant contact block used to connect molten iron sampling cups to instrumentation.
The thermocouple contact block has two type K conductors which provide a good electrical contact between molten iron sampling cups and the extension cable leading back to the measuring instrument. Guiding pins ensure the correct positioning of the cup on the stand and hold it in place securely.
The stand itself is sturdy and heat resistant protecting the extension cable from exposure to heat or any splashes of molten iron.
The extension cable is terminated with a 50V Reyrolle plug for connection to the Digicarb/14 as standard, however it can be supplied with a standard 2-pin thermocouple plug upon request.
