Industrial thermowell assembly with removable type K Mineral Insulated insert for easy thermocouple sensor replacement.

This range of high quality MI thermocouples are ideal for temperature measurement in gases or liquids in industrial applications, where a heavy-duty assembly and high temperature is required.

The probe features a 6mm diameter spring loaded removable MI insert, available with Thermocouple type K Class 1 accuracy. This gives a fast response and high accuracy, as well as making it easy to replace for maintenance, repair and overhaul.

The insert is fitted with a Temperature Transmitter that can be ranged between -100 to +900°C, this transmits the signal in 4-20mA which is widely used by measurement instrumentation.

The standard process connection is ½” BSPP with an 11mm diameter stem, all made from 316 stainless steel. Various immersion lengths are available to suit your process with a standard lagging length of 50mm below an IP68 KNE weatherproof terminal head.
